Savoury grain free base

Recipe

Serves 4, GF, DF

Ingredients

1 egg

2 cloves garlic (crushed and chopped)

30g coconut oil

80g pumpkin seeds

60g sunflower seeds

40g almonds

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

Place all ingredients except egg in a food processor and blend until finely chopped. Then add egg until it comes together in a dough.

Divide into 4 equal portions and then flatten each out in a circular base shape. Bake for 20mins at 180 degrees.

Then add toppings of choice and grill for 5 mins.

I added two mashed avocado with a handful of chopped coriander and pinch of salt, with some sliced tomato and kimchi on top.

You could also use this as a pizza base, or top with salmon and cream cheese.
