I interpret the research for you and create a lifestyle medicine plan (in conjunction with medications where necessary) to improve your health conditions based on your individual needs.

Lifestyle medicine focuses on evidence - informed nutrition, movement, sleep, mind states, social connection, connection to nature, online & advanced technology and health coaching techniques to help people achieve wellbeing. It’s a growing global movement, tackling the root causes of disease.

I provide lifestyle medicine consultations for:

  • People who want to reduce medications for chronic health conditions (where safe)

  • People who have a chronic health condition and who wish to use lifestyle approaches first or in conjunction with medications (eg high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis)

  • People who would like to use lifestyle approaches to help with their mental health.

  • People who wish to reduce their risk of disease based on family history

  • People who wish to achieve sustainable healthy weight

  • People who wish to engage in evidence based lifestyle behaviours to prevent a range of health conditions

Together we assess your health, with a full medical history, examination and blood work (where necessary) to create an individualized plan going forward with the aim of optimising your long term health.
